Physical Therapy Assistant - Rehab
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing treatment to patients with various conditions in the hospital, nursing home, and outpatient settings.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the supervision of the physical therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions.
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities to improve their condition.
- Assist in the maintenance and organization of equipment and supplies.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills for accurate documentation.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require standing, bending, and lifting.
